  • New technology significantly speeds up EMI testing and troubleshooting, addressing manufacturing bottlenecks.
  • Compliance with global EMC standards ensures reliable and efficient test results.

Keysight Technologies, Inc. (KEYS) has announced a major update to its PXE Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Receiver, improving its capabilities with a real-time, gapless 1 GHz measurement bandwidth. This upgrade enables engineers to perform measurements from 30 MHz to 1 GHz in a single step, compared to the previous model’s three-step process, thus enhancing efficiency in electromagnetic compliance (EMC) and certification workflows.

The enhanced PXE EMI Receiver increases test speed threefold and significantly boosts sensitivity, allowing engineers to swiftly address and solve electromagnetic interference issues, a common challenge in today's complex electronic designs. By incorporating a standalone stream processing unit (N9048BSPU), the new device reduces troubleshooting time from hours to just minutes.

With the enhanced PXE EMI Receiver, engineers and independent compliance test labs can achieve CISPR-compliant measurements more efficiently, thanks to its high sensitivity and superior dynamic range. The gapless real-time monitoring ensures no transient or low-level EMI signals are overlooked, aligning with the latest EMC standards, specifically CISPR 16-1-1:2019.

Scheduled for demonstration at Techno-Frontier 2025 in Tokyo, the PXE EMI Receiver is set to present a new benchmark in precision and productivity for engineers facing today's demanding EMC challenges. As the product development cycle accelerates, this advancement by Keysight Technologies empowers industries to reduce time-to-market while minimizing costs associated with compliance testing.
