StandardAero (SARO) has broadened its aerospace engine aftermarket services by introducing exchange engine solutions for the CFM International CFM56-7B, primarily aimed at enhancing aircraft availability for Boeing 737NG operators globally. As an OEM-authorized MRO provider with capabilities in North America, StandardAero now offers a streamlined service allowing customers to exchange unserviceable engines for serviceable ones with substantial remaining life.
The new offering was recently utilized by Stellar Aviation Solutions Pvt. Ltd., for a Boeing 737-800 aircraft's urgent cargo operations. Stellar Aviation received a warrantied CFM56-7B26/3 engine in exchange for a time-expired unit, with the transaction completed in just six weeks. The agreement also includes a future end-of-life solution for the engine's post-LLP expiration.
Guillaume Limouzy, Airline Sales Director, noted the importance of the new service, emphasizing collaboration with in-house specialists and MRO facilities in Dallas and Winnipeg to uphold rigorous quality standards for global customers. With enhanced MRO support at its Winnipeg and Dallas facilities, StandardAero continues to meet the growing demand from Boeing 737NG operators worldwide.
