According to Statcounter data, by June 2025, Microsoft's Bing has secured a commanding 40.23% share of the desktop search market in China, maintaining the top position for 12 consecutive months. This reflects Bing's robust growth trajectory in the PC segment. Over the past 16 years, Microsoft (MSFT, Financial) has invested nearly $100 billion into Bing, capitalizing on the digital transformation and globalization trends among Chinese enterprises.

Microsoft reports that Bing's user base in China has increased twelvefold over the last five years. In March 2025, China surpassed the United States to become Bing's largest market, contributing 28.25% of its global traffic compared to the U.S.'s 21.9%.
