Denison Mines Corp. (DNN) has announced significant high-grade uranium mineralization discoveries at the McClean South zone, which is part of the company's 22.5%-owned McClean Lake Joint Venture in Saskatchewan. The exploration program, led by majority owner Orano Canada (77.5%), spanned over 6,400 metres and successfully uncovered multiple high-grade uranium intersections, most notably in the 8C pod.

Highlights from the exploration results include intersection MCS-77, which revealed 7.51% eU3O8 over 5.4 metres, including a peak of 10.88% eU3O8 over 3.7 metres. Additional intersections such as MCS-80 showed 3.5% eU3O8 over 11.2 metres, and MCS-84 displayed 1.72% eU3O8 over 20.6 metres. Overall, 14 out of 24 drill holes encountered significant uranium mineralization, effectively expanding the mineralized footprint of the 8C and 8W pods.

McClean South is situated approximately 600 metres from the McClean North deposit, which recently began commercial production using the SABRE mining method. This strategic proximity to existing infrastructure, including the McClean Lake uranium mill with a licensed annual production capacity of 24 million pounds U3O8, positions Denison Mines to potentially benefit from substantial operational synergies and reduced development costs.

Denison's President & CEO, David Cates, expressed confidence in the potential economic contributions of McClean South as a new source of feed to the McClean Lake mill. While there are no current NI 43-101 compliant resource estimates for McClean South, the promising drill results suggest a substantial resource addition to Denison's portfolio.
