K Wave Media (KWM, Financial) has formed a strategic alliance with Galaxy Digital where Galaxy will assume the roles of Asset Manager and Strategic Advisor. This collaboration aims to assist KWM in executing its Bitcoin treasury strategy while broadening its access to institutional capital. As part of this initiative, Galaxy will also invest in KWM. Recently, KWM acquired 88 Bitcoin, reflecting its aggressive approach to expanding reserves, which ranks among the most audacious Bitcoin strategies by publicly traded firms worldwide.
Galaxy's advisory role will encompass guidance on structuring and implementing Bitcoin treasury acquisitions, managing associated risks, and ensuring secure custody frameworks. Additionally, Galaxy will aid in aligning KWM with institutional-level financial infrastructure for long-term growth and stability in the cryptocurrency space.
