Unusual Machines (UMAC, Financial) has achieved a significant milestone with the approval of its Fat Shark Aura Video Transmitter by the Defense Innovation Unit. This approval allows the transmitter to be included in the Blue UAS Framework. The Fat Shark Aura joins other key components from UMAC that are compliant with the National Defense Authorization Act, such as the Fat Shark Aura FPV camera, Rotor Riot Brave F7 flight controller, and the Brave 55A electronic speed controller.
With these critical components now recognized on the Framework, UMAC is well-positioned to provide fully compliant FPV drones. The company aims to expand its offerings through direct sales and strategic partnerships with reputable collaborators.
