Sysco Corporation (SYY), a leader in foodservice distribution, has unveiled its second Sysco To Go retail store in the heart of Houston. Strategically located at 1212 Old Spanish Trail, the new store is positioned near the city's bustling medical, sports, and entertainment districts. This expansion aims to serve the needs of independent restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and small businesses, offering a range of quality products spanning diverse cuisines, including Mexican, Pan-Asian, and American bar & grill offerings.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for July 23, 2025, from 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Central Time. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and include key speakers such as Lindsay Hirsch, Sysco's head of growth strategy, and Houston Mayor Pro-Tem Martha Castex-Tatum. Antonio Valenzuela, Sysco To Go Operations Manager, will also be available for Spanish-language interviews.
