Samsung Display has announced that its latest foldable OLED panels have successfully passed a durability test involving 500,000 folds. This milestone demonstrates the company's advancements in flexible display technology. The panels, used in Samsung Electronics' newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone, were tested at 25 degrees Celsius over a period of 13 days. The results were verified by the global certification organization, Bureau Veritas.
