BranchOut Food Inc. (BOF), a leader in dehydrated food technology, has taken significant steps in its collaboration with the U.S. Army. The company's Cinnamon Churro Banana Chips have been selected for inclusion in the upcoming Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) of the Close Combat Assault Ration (CCAR). This initiative is crucial for developing next-generation field rations aimed at sustaining military personnel for up to five days in mobile operations.

The selection of BranchOut's product follows its successful completion of shelf life and sensory validation tests, reinforcing the potential of its GentleDry technology platform. This proprietary dehydration method allows for the preservation of up to 95% of the original nutrition of fresh produce, creating lightweight and shelf-stable food solutions ideal for military requirements.

BranchOut is actively engaged with the U.S. Army's Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), with multiple products under review for potential inclusion in future Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) and CCAR platforms. This collaboration positions BranchOut to serve both government and commercial markets.

The company's vertically integrated supply chain, which includes a state-of-the-art facility in Peru, provides the operational advantages necessary to meet the military's exacting procurement standards.
