Provident Bank, a leading financial institution headquartered in New Jersey, has announced the appointment of Maheshkumar Kandasamy as the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Architecture Director. In this key role, Kandasamy will lead the bank's enterprise and business solutions architecture function and oversee strategic technology initiatives. He will report directly to Satish Harikrishnan, the SVP, Technology Services Director.

With over 24 years of experience in fast-paced technology environments, Kandasamy will focus on aligning the bank’s technology strategy with its business objectives. His responsibilities will include ensuring the scalability, security, and regulatory compliance of the bank’s systems, establishing enterprise architecture practices, and driving modernization efforts. He will also be pivotal in implementing AI and ML solutions to support growth and platform resiliency.

Before joining Provident Bank (PFS, Financial), Kandasamy worked as Director of Core Banking at Teachers Federal Credit Union, where he managed enterprise applications and led technology innovation and strategy leadership. Prior to that, he served as Global Delivery Head at Mphasis Corporation, where he oversaw technology initiatives for retail, wholesale banking, commercial cards, and merchant services.
