- Atlas Critical Minerals (OTCQB: JUPGF) achieves an impressive initial graphite recovery rate of 96.6% at its Minas Gerais Graphite Project.
- Surface samples reveal high graphitic carbon content of up to 15.4%.
- Final graphite concentrate grades range between 91.3% and 97.7% across all size ranges.
Atlas Critical Minerals Corporation (OTCQB: JUPGF) has reported exceptional initial results from its 100%-owned Minas Gerais Graphite Project in Brazil. The project achieved a high graphite recovery rate of 96.6% from its initial processing and analytical characterization.
Located across two mineral rights in Minas Gerais, the 1,258-hectare project revealed substantial surface samples with a graphitic carbon content of up to 15.4%. The metallurgical tests were conducted by SGS Canada and its affiliate, SGS Geosol, renowned for their expertise in testing, inspection, and certification of mineral properties.
According to the results, the final graphite concentrates achieved grades ranging from 91.3% to 97.7% across all granulometric ranges. The testing involved conventional techniques such as rougher flotation, regrinding, and sequential cleaning stages, utilizing 50 kg of samples from the 2025 sampling campaign.
This significant development highlights the strong potential of the Minas Gerais Project, further supported by Atlas Critical Minerals' extensive mineral rights portfolio in Brazil, which encompasses over 575,000 acres with additional projects in rare earths, titanium, and quartzite.
