JD.com (JD) Rises Over 1% Amid New Partner Recruitment Plan

JD.com (JD, Financial) saw its stock rise over 1%, reaching $33.75. The company announced the launch of its "Dish Partner" recruitment plan, committing $1 billion to find partners for 1,000 signature dishes. Partners are required to provide recipes and collaborate on development, while JD's Qixian Xiaochu will handle cooking and quality control. The initiative offers a base reward of $1 million per dish with uncapped sales commissions. Both brand-name restaurants and individual chefs are invited to participate.

Additionally, JD.com plans to invest several billion dollars in building a new supply chain. The company aims to establish 10,000 Qixian Xiaochu kitchens across the country within three years.
