Lloyds Banking Group, the UK's largest retail and commercial financial services provider, has selected NCR Atleos' (NATL, Financial) innovative ATM as a Service (ATMaaS) proposition for its Manchester and Glasgow branches. The partnership aims to modernize branch operations by introducing new recycling technology, transaction processing, and engineering services, enhancing customer engagement and operational efficiency.
The deployment of NCR Atleos' technology allows Lloyds branch staff to focus more on customer interactions by eliminating the need for ATM maintenance. "With NCR Atleos' end-to-end service proposition, we can reduce counter service traffic, freeing employee time for meaningful customer interactions," said Clare Buckley, Branch Transformation Product Owner at Lloyds Banking Group.
NCR Atleos will manage the hardware, software, logical security, installation, maintenance, cash forecasting, and processing, allowing Lloyds to quickly implement new features and improve service availability. According to Diego Navarrete, Executive Vice President of Global Sales at NCR Atleos, "These strategic pilots will enable Lloyds Banking Group to reduce back-office complexities while providing more robust self-service experiences to customers." Such initiatives will allow the bank to better serve its customers and expand access to critical financial services.
