Align Technology, Inc. (ALGN) has announced the commercial availability of its latest orthodontic solution, the Invisalign® System with mandibular advancement featuring occlusal blocks in Malaysia. This advancement addresses Class II skeletal and dental corrections, primarily aiding kids and teenagers with malocclusion issues. Class II malocclusion, noted for a misalignment of the jaw where the lower jaw is too far back, is a prevalent condition affecting approximately 30-45% of global malocclusions.

Designed for growing patients aged 10-16, this innovative system leverages the natural growth spurts during pre-adolescence and adolescence to enhance treatment effectiveness. The new system features integrated solid occlusal blocks that ensure durability and quicker mandibular advancement, minimizing the need for multiple orthodontic appliances. Made with SmartTrack™ material and SmartForce™ technology, the system promises predictable tooth movement and increased patient comfort.

Align Technology's new offering is part of a broader strategy to expand its Class II treatment portfolio. The system is now available to Invisalign-trained practitioners in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and Malaysia, with plans to further introduce it to additional Asia-Pacific markets by the end of 2025. This move continues Align Technology's commitment to delivering comprehensive digital orthodontic solutions and enhancing outcomes for young patients.
