Hyperfine, Inc. (HYPR), a leader in health technology, has announced the commercial release of its Optive AI™ software, designed to enhance the image quality of the Swoop® portable MRI systems. This launch marks a significant advancement in portable MRI technology, offering improved diagnostic capabilities through enhanced image clarity and speed.

The Optive AI™ software, which received FDA clearance in May 2025, has been installed in a select number of hospitals and neurology offices across the United States. The software enhances each step of the imaging process, resulting in crisper brain images, as noted by medical professionals. Dr. Jennifer Villa Frabizzio and Dr. Chetan Shah have both commended the substantial improvements in image resolution and speed.

The new Optive AI™ software is compatible with first-generation Swoop® systems, ensuring that current users can immediately benefit from the upgraded image quality without requiring any hardware modifications. In addition to its rollout in the U.S., the software is also available in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with further international approvals expected soon.
