Lukas Neely, a former hedge fund manager who wrote the current best seller, "A Value Investor's Journey Through the Unknown," gave a TED Talk. His TED Talk was titled, "Is This the Death of Investing?" He discussed investors who have given up on investing for passive no value-added investment structures. Neely believes this move will have a negative effect on investors' purchasing power and standard of living. During his TED Talk, he explored the steps needed to become a successful investor.
