Berkshire Hathaway Inc.'s Warren Buffett turned the tables on a shareholder who called on him to sell shares of PetroChina Co. because its government-owned parent operates in a nation accused of genocide.
``The woman is calling on us to divest because she doesn't agree with the government of China,'' Buffett, Berkshire's billionaire chairman, said in an interview today. ``She's not divesting her Berkshire because she doesn't agree with Berkshire. She should divest in Berkshire if she feels that way, not that I'm suggesting she should do that.''
