When such events occur, they invariably rattle investor confidence. Markets have a way of recovering, however, as long as sound fundamentals remain intact. Despite the ebbs and flows of markets, we believe our value-oriented investment approach will enable us to continue to uncover rewarding investments in coming months."


"The fund returned 1.26% in the first quarter versus 1.31% for the Lipper Equity Income Funds Index and 0.64% for the S&P 500 Stock Index. For the 12-month period ended March 31, the fund returned 14.50% versus 14.38% for the Lipper index and 11.82% for the S&P 500."
