Billionaire George Soros, who largely ditched Russian telecoms last year, is back on the market after buying stakes in three telecoms companies, daily newspaper Vedomosti said on Wednesday.
An investment fund controlled by Soros has bought about one percent of American Depositary Receipts of long-distance monopoly Rostelekom , Vedomosti quoted a document issued by the fund as saying.
Vedomosti said it had also bought 0.35 percent of ADRs in Vimpelcom and raised its interest in MTS to 134,000 ADRs -- or 0.031 percent -- from 83,000 ADRs
