(SYNT, Financial), a leading global provider of integrated information technology and knowledge process services, today announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with Esko, a leading provider of prepress software and hardware for labeling and packaging.
Headquartered in Belgium, Esko is a leading graphic arts and digital asset management company that produces prepress software and hardware products that manage labeling, packaging design and print processes.
The partnership will allow Syntel access to Esko’s software products, training and support, and the two companies will collaborate on implementations across the U.S. and Europe. Syntel will also integrate Esko products into its existing suite of labeling and packaging solutions for the medical devices and pharmaceutical industries.
As changing regulatory requirements such as the European Union Medical Device Regulations (EU MDR) come into force, it is creating pressure on medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturers by requiring large-scale changes to the way they create and change labels and packages of their products.
