Mollenkopf discusses the company's legal battle with Apple and its deal with NXP

Overview:

On Thursday, QualcommÂ Inc. (QCOM, Financial) CEO Steve Mollenkopf sat down for an interview with CNBC. Among the topics discussed was the company resisting Broadcom's (AVGO, Financial) takeover offers. Clearly, Qualcomm has no interest in selling to Broadcom.

He also discussed the company's legal fight with Apple (AAPL, Financial) over iPhone royalties and its $40 billion deal with NXP Semiconductors (NXPI, Financial), which still needs to be approved by the Chinese government. Mollenkopf is confident they will approve the deal.
