Microfsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer Interview

The preliminary review of product on the market has been positive. Steve Ballmer was reviewed by Bloomberg. Here are a few points he made:


By the end of the year, lion portion of the computers will be sold with Windows 7.


60% of the computers go to the consumers instead of bought by businesses


300 million computers got sold every year.


Three quarters of the business PC’s are right now sold with Windows XP, instead of Windows Visita.


Steven sees a rebound in demand for PC. Regardless, he claimed the companies has reconfigured the cost structure for a number of situations.


On the competition from Apple, Steven said the Apple has 3.5% of market share globally.


The company may buy 10-20 smaller companies this year, about the same number next year.
