We are pleased to introduce a new, more direct method to follow top gurus like Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK.A, Financial)(BRK.B, Financial) CEO Warren Buffett (Trades, Portfolio), Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. (TSX:FFH, Financial) CEO Prem Watsa (Trades, Portfolio) and Markel Corp. (MKL, Financial) co-CEO Tom Gayner (Trades, Portfolio).
Preliminary step: create a new guru list
To begin personalizing your guru list, please click the “My Gurus” tab from one of the new guru pages and then click on the “Personalize” button. You will then see a pop-up window like the one shown in Figure 1.

You can create a new group of gurus by clicking on the green “+ New Group” item in the header section. Please enter a group name and click on the checkmark to create the group. Figure 2 shows a screen shot of sample group of gurus containing Buffett, Watsa and Gayner.

If you wish to view the list of Premium gurus that begin with a specific letter, please first click on the “premium” group and then click on that letter from the row. For example, click on “D” to view gurus like David Tepper (Trades, Portfolio), David Einhorn (Trades, Portfolio) and Daniel Loeb (Trades, Portfolio). Figure 3 shows a sample screen shot listing Premium gurus that begin with “D.”

You can now directly add gurus to a personalized list by clicking on the blue “+” sign as Figure 3 illustrates. You should then see a pop-up menu that allows you to add the selected guru directly to the desired group. Figure 4 shows a sample screen shot with Loeb, Einhorn and Tepper added to the group illustrated in Figure 2 above. Note, you must click on the “All” button to see the six gurus; otherwise, you will only see the three gurus that begin with D.
