Bill Miller, a former chairman and chief investment officer of Legg Mason Capital Management, spoke with CNBC Monday about some of the market's most-watched stocks.

Miller was particularly bullish on Amazon (AMZN, Financial) and said Apple (AAPL, Financial) is still not overpriced although it faces challenges in China that forced it to lower its guidance last week. The investor, who runs the Miller Opportunity Trust fund, also opined on Delta Airlines (DAL, Financial) and JPMorgan (JPM, Financial).

On the macro environment, he said he does not foresee a financial crisis occurring for the next 65 years because excesses take a significant amount of time to build.
