Stocks continued to rally on Monday with closing gains helping the S&P 500 to a positive eight-day streak. Investors were optimistic about trade talks with China as both countries reported new progress had been made last week. Investors were also looking ahead to the first quarter’s earnings reports as big banks begin reporting this week.
