Gulfport Energy is an independent exploration and production company concentrating on the Utica Shale play in Appalachia. At the end of 2016, the company reported proved reserves of 387 million barrels of oil equivalent, based on trailing prices and costs. Daily production averaged approximately 120 thousand barrels of oil equivalent in 2016 at a ratio of 14% liquids and 86% natural gas.
