Soma Textiles & Industries Ltd is an Indian textile manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with a history dating back to 1949. The company produces a range of fabrics, including denim, cotton and blended textiles, and specialty fabrics such as fire-retardant, water-repellent, and stain-resistant finishes. It operates spinning, weaving, processing, and finishing facilities and serves domestic and international customers in apparel, industrial, and home-textile markets. Revenue comes primarily from the sale of manufactured fabrics, with exports forming a significant share of its business. The reference to highway construction is outdated; Soma Textiles is a textile company, not a construction firm. It has also diversified into real estate development on surplus land in Ahmedabad.
