Alstom SA is a French multinational manufacturer and service provider for the railway transport sector. The company designs, builds, and maintains rolling stock, including high-speed trains, metros, trams, regional and commuter trains, and locomotives, and supplies signaling systems, infrastructure, and turnkey rail solutions. It also offers long-term maintenance, modernization, and digital mobility services. Alstom serves transit authorities, national and regional rail operators, and private customers, with major markets in Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. Revenue comes from rolling stock sales, systems and signaling contracts, and a growing services business that provides recurring maintenance and support income. The company has a large installed fleet and a substantial order backlog, and it operates manufacturing and engineering sites worldwide. Its brands and product families include TGV, Coradia, Citadis, Metropolis, and Pendolino.
