Hecla Mining Company is a precious metals producer focused on silver and gold, with additional output of lead and zinc as by-products. Its operations include the Greens Creek mine in Alaska, one of the world's largest and lowest-cost primary silver mines; the Lucky Friday mine in Idaho; the Keno Hill silver mine in Canada's Yukon; and the Casa Berardi gold mine in Quebec. The company also conducts exploration and pre-development activities across North America. Hecla sells silver and gold doré, concentrates, and refined metals to smelters, refiners, and trading counterparties, generating revenue primarily from silver and gold production with base metals contributing by-product credits.
