Constellation Energy Business Description

Address 1310 Point Street, Baltimore, MD, USA, 21231-3380
Constellation Energy is the largest producer of carbon-free electricity in the United States, operating the nation's biggest fleet of nuclear power plants, roughly 21 reactors across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, plus hydro, wind, and solar assets. Its generation is increasingly contracted to data center and technology customers seeking clean around-the-clock power, highlighted by a landmark 20-year agreement with Microsoft to restart Three Mile Island Unit 1 (the Crane Clean Energy Center) and large power deals with Meta and others; nuclear output also benefits from federal production tax credit price floors. Constellation's retail business is one of the largest competitive electricity and gas suppliers to businesses and homes nationwide, and its pending acquisition of Calpine would add the country's largest gas and geothermal fleet. Spun off from Exelon in 2022, Constellation is headquartered in Baltimore.
