Pan American Silver Corp is a Canadian mining company engaged in the exploration, development, extraction, processing, refining, and reclamation of silver, gold, and other precious and base metals. Its primary products are silver and gold, with zinc, lead, and copper produced as by-products. The company operates mines and projects across Latin America, including Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, as well as in Canada. Following its acquisition of Yamana Gold, Pan American added several gold mines in Canada and Latin America to its portfolio. Its operations include La Colorada, Dolores, Huaron, Morococha, Shahuindo, La Arena, Timmins, Jacobina, El Peñon, and Cerro Moro, among others. The company sells doré bars, silver and gold concentrates, and refined metals to smelters, refiners, and trading companies worldwide. Revenue is generated primarily through the sale of metals at prevailing market prices, with silver and gold accounting for the majority of sales.
