McEwen Inc., formerly McEwen Mining, is a Canadian precious metals and copper producer and explorer. Its gold and silver operations include the Fox Complex in Timmins, Ontario, the Gold Bar mine in Nevada, and the San José mine in Argentina, operated through a minority stake in a joint venture with Hochschild. The company also holds the El Gallo property in Mexico and the large Los Azules copper project in Argentina, held through its majority-owned subsidiary McEwen Copper. Revenue comes primarily from the sale of gold and silver doré and concentrate, with the United States and Canada contributing most production. McEwen also earns income from its copper exploration activities and holds investments in other mining companies. Its shares trade on the NYSE and TSX under the ticker MUX.
