Patria Private Equity Trust Business Description

Address 114-116 George Street, New Clarendon House, Edinburgh, GBR, EH2 4LH
Patria Private Equity Trust PLC is a UK-listed investment trust that provides investors with exposure to private equity. It builds a diversified portfolio primarily by committing capital to private equity funds managed by third-party general partners, with a focus on the European mid-market, and also makes direct co-investments alongside those managers into private companies. Its investment objective is to deliver long-term total returns, principally through capital appreciation of the underlying portfolio. The trust's holdings span buyout, growth and other private equity strategies across a range of sectors and geographies, mainly Europe but with some exposure elsewhere. It is managed by Patria Investments, following the transfer of the mandate from abrdn, and its shares trade on the London Stock Exchange. Revenue derives from gains on the underlying private equity investments, which are reinvested or distributed to shareholders.
