It reports four segments: Data Center, which includes EPYC server CPUs and Instinct GPU accelerators for AI training and inference; Client, covering Ryzen processors for desktops and notebooks; Gaming, which includes Radeon graphics cards and semi-custom system-on-chips that power the PlayStation and Xbox consoles; and Embedded, largely comprising the adaptive computing (FPGA) portfolio acquired with Xilinx in 2022 that serves aerospace, industrial, networking, and automotive markets. AMD outsources wafer fabrication, principally to TSMC, and competes primarily with Intel in x86 processors and NVIDIA in GPUs and AI accelerators. The company is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and sells worldwide to cloud providers, OEMs, and through distribution channels.
