Ormonde Mining PLC is an Irish-quoted mineral exploration and development company. Its principal asset is a significant shareholding in Toronto-listed TRU Precious Metals, which holds gold and copper exploration projects in the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt of Canada, including the Golden Rose project. Ormonde also retains legacy Spanish interests, notably the Salamanca tungsten project in western Spain, which it has sought to advance or divest. Historically the company focused on tungsten and gold exploration in Spain, including the Barruecopardo tungsten mine, which was developed and later divested. Ormonde operates as a small holding and investment vehicle rather than an active miner, generating no meaningful operating revenue and funding activities through equity financings and asset sales. Its shareholders are primarily Irish and UK retail and institutional investors, and its shares trade on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and the Euronext Growth market in Dublin.
