Address Klausdalsbrovej 601, Ballerup, DNK, 2750
Tryg A/S is a Scandinavian non-life insurance group headquartered in Denmark. It provides property and casualty insurance to private individuals and businesses, with major product lines including motor, home, contents, accident, health, liability, workers' compensation, and commercial property coverage. Private customers account for roughly two-thirds of premiums, while commercial and corporate clients make up the remainder. Denmark is its largest market, generating about half of revenue, followed by Sweden and Norway, which together contribute the rest. Policies are distributed through direct channels, online platforms, bank partnerships, insurance brokers, and its own sales force. Revenue comes primarily from insurance premiums, supplemented by investment income from its bond-heavy portfolio. Tryg also operates in the Danish and Norwegian markets through the brands Tryg, Alka, and upon acquisition of RSA's Scandinavian operations, expanded its Swedish presence significantly. The company is listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen.
