Medivir AB develops drugs with a focus on cancer, where unmet medical needs are high. The company is concentrating on the development of fostroxacitabine bralpamide (fostrox), a liver-targeted inhibitor of DNA replication that selectively delivers the cell-killing agent to the tumor while minimizing potentially harmful effects on normal cells.
