Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) is a Saudi Arabian chemicals and materials manufacturer, majority-owned by Saudi Aramco. Its operations span petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, agri-nutrients, and metals. The petrochemicals segment produces olefins, polymers such as polyethylene and polypropylene, glycols, methanol, and other industrial chemicals from hydrocarbon feedstocks including methane, ethane, and propane. The agri-nutrients business makes urea, ammonia, phosphate, and compound fertilizers. SABIC also produces steel through its Hadeed affiliate, offering long and flat steel products. Its customers are industrial manufacturers, converters, agricultural producers, and construction firms worldwide. SABIC sells across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, with Asia accounting for a large share of revenue. Revenue comes from the sale of commodity and specialty chemicals, fertilizers, and steel, supported by global manufacturing and distribution operations.
