Address 20 Iouliou Kaisara Street, Paiania, Athens, GRC, 19002
TOP Ships Inc. is a Greek shipping company that owns and operates tanker vessels engaged in the worldwide transportation of crude oil, petroleum products, and bulk liquid chemicals. Its fleet consists primarily of modern, fuel-efficient eco-tankers, including MR2 product tankers and larger crude carriers, deployed under time charter agreements with oil majors, commodity traders, and other charterers. Revenue is generated mainly from time charter hire, under which vessels are chartered for fixed periods at daily rates, providing relatively stable cash flow. The company has historically operated through its tanker segment, and it previously held a megayacht segment that has since been divested. TOP Ships is listed on Nasdaq and manages its commercial and technical operations through third-party ship managers, with vessels trading on international routes rather than serving a single geographic market.
