The a2 Milk Co Business Description

Address 51 Shortland Street, Level 10, Auckland, NTL, NZL, 1010
The a2 Milk Company Ltd is a New Zealand-based dairy nutrition company that markets products containing only the A2 beta-casein protein, which it positions as easier to digest than the A1 variant. Its portfolio spans infant formula, fresh and long-life milk, cream, and other dairy products sold under the a2 and a2 Platinum brands. Infant formula, particularly for the China market, is the largest revenue contributor, while liquid milk is sold mainly in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. The company operates an asset-light model, sourcing milk from contracted dairy suppliers and manufacturing through third-party processors, while generating revenue from wholesale and retail sales and, in some markets, licensing and distribution arrangements. China and the United States are key growth markets alongside its established Australian and New Zealand businesses.
