Inversora Electrica de Buenos Aires SA (IEBA) is an Argentine holding company whose principal asset is a controlling interest in Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte Sociedad Anónima (Edenor), one of the largest electricity distribution companies in Argentina. Through Edenor, IEBA distributes and sells electric power to residential, commercial, industrial, and government customers across a concession area covering northern and western Greater Buenos Aires, including large parts of Buenos Aires City and surrounding municipalities. Revenue comes primarily from regulated electricity tariffs charged to end users, supplemented by connection fees and other regulated charges. The company's operations are concentrated entirely in Argentina, and its financial performance is closely tied to the country's tariff framework, regulated by the national electricity regulator ENRE. IEBA is controlled by Empresa de Energia del Cono Sur and has been listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange.
