Redcastle Resources Ltd is an Australian mineral exploration company focused on gold and base metals in Western Australia. Its flagship asset is the Redcastle Gold Project, located in the Eastern Goldfields region near Leonora and Laverton, within the highly prospective Yilgarn Craton greenstone belt. The company also holds interests in the Eucalyptus Bore and other exploration tenements. Redcastle's activities centre on geological mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys and drilling to define and advance mineral resources. As a pre-revenue explorer, it generates no operating income and funds its programmes through equity raisings and asset transactions. Its primary customers, in effect, are future offtakers and acquirers of any resources it develops, while its shareholder base consists mainly of Australian retail and institutional investors.
