Its investment objective is to provide shareholders with current income exempt from U.S. federal income taxes and California personal income taxes. The fund mainly invests in municipal obligations exempt from U.S. federal income taxes (except that the interest may be subject to the U.S. federal alternative minimum tax) and California personal income taxes.
