Huaneng Power International Inc and its subsidiaries are mainly engaged in developing, constructing, operating, and managing power plants throughout China. It has a substantial controlled power generation capacity across China, with a meaningful portion of its portfolio comprising low-carbon and clean energy sources. Additionally, the Group owns a power company in Singapore and invests in a power company in Pakistan. The majority of its revenue is generated from the sale of power and heat.
