Stolt-Nielsen Ltd is a Bermuda-domiciled transportation and logistics group best known for Stolt Tankers, which operates one of the world's largest fleets of parcel tankers carrying bulk liquid chemicals, acids, edible oils and other specialty liquids under contracts of affreightment and on the spot market. Its other core businesses include Stolthaven Terminals, which operates chemical and bulk liquid storage terminals worldwide, and Stolt Tank Containers, a global operator of tank containers for door-to-door chemical and food-grade liquid shipments. The group also holds Stolt Sea Farm, an aquaculture producer of turbot and sole, and interests in LNG and gas transportation. Customers are primarily chemical producers, oil companies, and food and agricultural firms. Revenue comes mainly from ocean freight, terminal storage and handling fees, and tank container leasing and logistics services, with operations across Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
