Elvalhalcor SA is a Greek industrial metals company formed from the merger of Elval (aluminium) and Halcor (copper), and is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of rolled and extruded aluminium and copper products. It operates through two main segments: aluminium and copper. The aluminium business produces flat-rolled products, foil, and flexible packaging materials, while the copper segment makes tubes, strips, sheets, and bars. Its products serve the packaging, automotive and shipbuilding, energy and power networks, renewable energy, HVAC and refrigeration, building and construction, and general industrial markets. Customers are largely industrial manufacturers and processors across Europe and other export markets, with Greece representing only a small share of sales. Revenue is generated primarily through the sale of semi-finished metal products, with profitability influenced by metal prices, processing spreads, and energy costs.
