Imperial Metals Corp is a Canadian mining company engaged in the exploration, development, and production of base and precious metals from mineral properties in British Columbia. Its principal assets are the Mount Polley copper-gold mine and the Red Chris copper-gold mine, along with the Huckleberry copper mine. The company produces copper and gold concentrates, which are sold to smelters and trading companies, with customers located primarily in Switzerland, China, the United States, and Singapore. Red Chris is operated as a joint venture with Newcrest Mining, which holds a majority interest. Imperial Metals also holds other exploration properties, including Sterling. Revenue is generated mainly through the sale of metal concentrates, with Mount Polley historically the largest contributor.
