Quanex Building Products Corp is a US-based manufacturer of engineered components for the building products industry. The company supplies original equipment manufacturers of windows, doors, and cabinets with products including flexible insulating glass spacers, extruded vinyl profiles, window and door screens, seals, and precision-formed metal and wood components. Its operations are organized into segments covering North American Fenestration, European Fenestration, and North American Cabinet Components, with the North American Fenestration segment generating the largest share of revenue. Following its acquisition of Tyman plc, the company expanded its portfolio of engineered fenestration components and access solutions, including hardware and seals, and broadened its geographic reach. Quanex sells primarily to OEM customers rather than through retail channels, and derives the majority of its revenue from the United States, with additional sales in Europe and other international markets.
