AMAG Austria Metall AG is an Austrian integrated aluminium producer operating along the full value chain from primary metal to semi-finished products. Its Metal segment produces primary aluminium and manages price risk; Casting manufactures aluminium casting alloys for the automotive, engineering and electrical industries; Rolling produces aluminium sheets, coils and plates for sectors such as transport, packaging, construction and consumer goods; and a Service segment provides centralized operational and management support. The company operates an aluminium smelter and rolling mill at its Ranshofen site in Austria and holds a stake in a smelter in Canada. Customers are mainly industrial manufacturers in Europe, with additional sales in North America and Asia. Revenue comes primarily from the Rolling segment, supplemented by sales of primary aluminium and casting alloys, with metal prices and hedging influencing results.
