Inter-Rock Minerals Inc. is a Canadian holding company whose U.S. subsidiaries supply specialty ingredients to the agricultural and industrial markets. It operates through two segments: MIN-AD, Inc. and Papillon Agricultural Company Inc. MIN-AD mines, processes and markets high-purity dolomite and clay, primarily for use as a magnesium source in dairy and beef cattle feed, with additional sales into glass, roofing and agricultural lime applications. Papillon is a marketer and distributor of toll-manufactured premium dairy feed nutritional supplements, including MIN-AD's dolomite products, sold to dairy producers, feed mills and nutritionists. The company generates revenue mainly through the sale and distribution of these mineral and nutritional products, with the vast majority of its business conducted in the United States.
